Description
Jimmy lost the battle of addiction in December 2014. As his mother my life is forever changed. He touched many lives, loved many people and was loved by many. He always smiled and had a kind word for everyone. His dream was to someday be in good recovery and help others with this disease. Addiction is a brain disease. No one aspires to become an addict. No one decides one day to alienate friends and family, to feel helpless and hopeless. Jimmy had hopes and dreams. Jimmy had a future that was stolen by one decision, one mistake. With the love and support of family and friends, lets not just raise funds let raise our voices so no one endures the pain of losing a loved one to addiction. One of the most difficult aspects for everyone to understand and accept is addiction is a chronic and often relapsing brain disease. Too many lives have been lost to this disease, too many people suffer with this disease. With the dedication and the support of our family and friends we can do this one step at a time and one day at a time. So we would like to continue to help others in Jimmy's memory. Thank you for all your prayers and support as we go through this journey in life together.
