Bob McGoff Memorial 5k Run -1 Mile Walk

The Fourth Annual Bob McGoff Memorial 5k Run and 1mi Walk will be held in memory of Bob McGoff, a former Scranton City Councilman, teacher, basketball coach, and most importantly, a man dedicated to his family and community.  This race was started by the Friends of Connors Park Association as a way to keep Bob's memory alive by supporting what was important to him- Running, Coaching and Education. Proceeds will be used to support Coaches vs. Cancer "Road to Recovery" program that provides transportation for patients to and from appointments. In 2018 this program provided rides for 181 patients (over 4600 rides) in Lackawanna and Luzerne Counties. Proceeds also allow us to give college scholarships at local high schools and support small acts of kindness.

The success of this race largely depends on the support of individuals and businesses. We are asking for your help and hope you consider supporting our goal of helping others in our community.

Time: 9:00 am start (Race- Day registration from 7:30am - 8:45am)

Price: $20 online registration, $25 day of registration
