One Life to Live Four Legged Friends 5K Run/ 1-Mile Walk

This is One Life to Live Pet Rescue and Adoption's biggest fundraiser of the year. The 5K, which will be timed, runs through Scranton's Nay Aug Park and the walk, which will not be timed, runs through the park on a different route. Registration fee for the event is $20.00 if signed up by 11:59pm on August 1st. After that time, the fee will be $25.00. Children under 10 can participate for free but t-shirts are $5.00, which can be paid for on race day at the registration table. Monetary donations are being accepted on this site or through the mail. Anyone wishing to mail a donation can email Jgolden903@yahoo.com for more information. On site race day registrations will be accepted (cash only) and will begin at 8:00am at the Everhart Pavilion (across from GCMC Hospital). The 5K will begin at 9:30am with the walk immediately following that. Race packets for those who pre-register can be picked up beginning at 8:00am at the pavilion as well. Participants are able to bring their dog for the event as long as they are on a leash. For the 5K, there will be prizes for the first place male, first place female, and first place finisher who runs with a dog. T-shirts in the desired size are guaranteed as long as the participant signs up by August 1st. Any registrations after that time are not guaranteed a t-shirt (Note: The website will still ask for a t-shirt size after August 1st for organizational purposes but the t-shirt is not guaranteed). There will be light refreshments after the run/walk as well as a basket raffle and 50/50. Thanks for the support and hope to see you on race day!
