Description
This flat, fast, and shaded course is PERFECT for a mid-summer half-marathon!
The Warrior Trail runs along the west bank of the Susquehanna River in Luzerne County, PA. The out-and-back route has a total elevation gain/loss of 11 feet and 90% of the trail is shaded.

Saturday August 12th. Both races begin at 8:00 am.

Cost
Half Marathon: $50 until 7/1, $55 until 8/1; $60 8/2 to race day
Quarter Marathon: $35 until 7/1; $40 until 8/1; $45 8/2 to race day
Race T-shirt and Unique Finisher's Medal
The first 100 participants to sign up will receive a Super-soft Warrior Trail T-shirt and all participants will receive a unique finisher's medal!
Bathrooms and Water Stations
Porta-potties will be available at the starting area and along the course. Water stations will be available roughly every 2 miles.
Parking
There is plenty of parking near the starting area in a few parking lots and along the street.
Packet Pickup
All packets will be picked up day-of on-site. Packet pickup opens at 6:30 AM.
Charity
A portion of the proceeds and 100% of all donations will go to support the Susquehanna Warrior Trail. For more information, check out their website HERE.
Awards
The top three M/F overall, the top three M/F masters (masters division for Half Marathon only), and the top three M/F in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ will win plaques to attach to their finisher's medals.
Q: What is the course surface like?
A: The out-and-back course on The Susquehanna Warrior Trail is flat hard-packed dirt and gravel. 90% is shaded.
Q: Are dogs allowed on the course?
A: Yes! You may run with your dog, but you assume ALL responsibility for your dog. We ask that you bring only dogs that have experience running in groups.
Q: Are strollers allowed on the course?
A: No. The trail is not well-suited for strollers.
