Strides for Lives 5K Run/Walk

Join Integrity Racing for their first annual Strides for Lives 5K this summer! Integrity Racing hosts multiple events throughout the year and decided to introduce this new 5K to help benefit a member of their immediate family, Elijah, born in the summer of 2017. This race is being held to specifically help the Follmer family, of Montgomery, PA, with their baby's medical expenses. The Follmer's have 3 children, one of which was diagnosed with Perlman Syndrome at 3 months of age. It’s a very rare syndrome that puts him at risk for Wilms' Tumor, a type of childhood cancer that starts in the kidneys. Undergoing 19 weeks of chemotherapy treatment, he had the Wilms’ Tumor removed in June 2018. However, he is again undergoing treatments. As the Follmer family moves forward with Elijah's progress, we recommend donating to his cause using the "Support Elijah" button above. We also would love to have you show your support by means of participating in this first annual 5K!

WHEN: Sunday, July 14th, 2019 July 28th, 2019

             Starts at 9:00 AM

             Registration begins at 7:00 AM.

 

WHERE: Community Park in South Williamsport, PA

 

FEES: Sign up now through April 30th for $30.00, shirt included.

           May 1st - July 24th will now be $30.00, shirt included until July 14th.

           $40.00 on Race Day.

           * Children 10 & Under are $15.00. Children in a stroller do not need to be registered.

 

SHIRTS: Shirt order will be turned in on July 15th for pre-registrants. Only a limited number of extras will be ordered for late entries, so if not registered by July 14th you will not be guaranteed a shirt. SHIRTS WILL BE AN AQUATIC BLUE COLOR IN A COMFY, PERFORMANCE BLEND SHORT SLEEVE T-SHIRT. Youth sizes small - xlarge and Adult sizes small - xlarge available.

 

As always, snack foods and drinks will be available as refreshments after your 5K.

 

AWARDS: A red Seaside Tote Bag will be given to the winners!

Award will be given to the Overall Male/Female as well as Top 1 Male/Female in age groups 10 & Under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ in the Run.

Award will be given to the Overall Male and Female as well as Top 1 Male/Female in age groups 20 & Under, 21-44, and 45+ in the Walk.
