The Williamsport Salvation Army Community Challenge 5k

Join us on November 12, 2016 for The Salvation Army Community Challenge 5k Run & Kids Fun Walk/Run which will take place at the Williamsport High School Cross Country Course and new Track and Field. Walkers will begin at 9:45 AM and runners will take their mark at 10:00 AM.

You may participate in the 5K as an individual participant or part of a team. Long sleeve shirts are guaranteed to all participants who register by October 31.

Your dollars contributed to The Salvation Army are appreciated and valued. The Salvation Army ranks among the top 10 most trusted non-profit organizations in America. It uses 83 cents for every dollar donated to provide direct services and 90 percent of the donated dollars stay within our community.

Proceeds will support community outreach programs such as tutoring and mentoring and funds raised from the event will stay local.

A free kids run will be held on the new turf field following the 5K.

Community Cup Challenge: The organization (business, church, school, club, etc) that has the most registered participants will win the Community Cup. The Community Cup is a large trophy that will be passed along to the winning team year after year.

Prizes:
Prizes from sponsors will be presented to the male and female race winners
Medals will be presented to the age group winners (male and female)
Ribbons will be given to the Kids Run participants
The Community Cup will be presented to the team with the most registered guests
