Yeadon Races

A Community and Family Event for all to participate and enjoy.

DATE: Saturday, June 6th, 2015 Rain or Shine

PLACE: Evans Elementary School: Baily Road at Church Lane, Yeadon, PA.

TIMES: 7:30 am Registration starts. 8:45 am Kids 100 yard RUN for 10 & under. 9:00 am 5 Kilometer RUN and 5K WALK (approx. 3.1 miles). People of all abilities invited. 10:00 am Awards Ceremony

COURSE: New and improved! Community roads starting and finishing at the Evans School, accurately measured for distance, turns and miles clearly marked, fire police or marshals at all key intersections.

5K RUN AWARDS: - Prize to 1st overall male & female runner. - Medals to the top 3 male and female runners in each age group - - - 12 & under * , 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60, 70, & over. 5K RACE WALK

AWARDS: - Prize to 1st overall male & female walker - Medals to the top 3 male and female walkers in each age group - - - 12 & under * , 13-15 , 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60, 70, & over. KIDS K: Age 10 and under, 100 yard run. Ribbons are awarded to all finishers. * Parental Participation Required.

TIMING: BRYN MAWR RACING COMPANY The race will be timed with digital timing devices for split times at 1 and 2 miles. Distance Markers, per ¼ mile & other markers will be located along the course. Marshals will be located strategically throughout the course. FEE: (See Reg.) per adult, $8.00 per student, Kids 10 & under: $4.00. Proceeds will go to Yeadon Recreation and Community Programs.

Online registration: Ryan Walsh brynmawrracing.com Online Registration at, $15.00, is preferred, as there is a cost savings, and it speeds up the registration process. Walk in registration is available on race day, from 7:30 to 8:30, prior to start at Evans School ($17.00).
