Corre-Caminata La Vaca Flaca

En Paraguay, el mes de Agosto realmente es duro. Dicen en guarani "Agosto, vaka piru ha tuja rerahaha". Este es un dicho muy popular asociado a esta fecha: Agosto, el mes que se lleva a las vacas flacas y a los viejo. Los años 2020 y 2021 luchamos contra el Covid y este año por fin estamos saliendo de las medidas sanitarias impuesto por los gobiernos. Una consecuencia del aislamiento fue que muchas personas dejaron de hacer ejercicio.  Queremos motivarnos a movernos, a pensar en la salud, a hacer todo posible para vencer esa tendencia a sentarmos demaciado.

In Paraguay the month of August is really hard. In Guarani they say "Agosto, vaka piru ha tuja rerahaha." This is a very popular saying associated with the month of August, the month that takes the skinny cows and the old people. During the years 2020 and 2021 we struggled against Covid and this year we are finally  coming out of the health regulations imposed by governments. A consequence of the isolation was that many people stopped exercising. We want to motivate ourselves to move, to think of our health, and to do everything possible to overcome the tendency to sit too much.
