The Palm Desert 1/2 Marathon & 5K is partnering with the Mission Inn Run and Citrus Heritage Run to bring you the Run Riverside County Challenge! Earn your exclusing Run Riverside County Challenge medal by running all three races consecutively. You can start with any of the three races. Here's some examples of how it works:

• You ran the Mission Inn Run in October 2025. You run the Citrus Heritage Run in January 2026. After running the Palm Desert 1/2 Marathon & 5K in February 2026, you can collect your medal at the Run Riverside County Challenge tent at the Palm Desert 1/2 finisher expo.
• You run the Palm Desert 1/2 Marathon & 5K in February 2026. You run the Mission Inn Run in October 2026. After running the Citrus Heritage Run in January 2027, you can collect your medal at the Run Riverside County Challenge tent at the Citrus Heritage Run  finisher expo.

Events can be run in-person or virtually to be eligible. You don't need to do anything special during registration or at the races; we'll keep track of your finishes and eligibility for you. Have other questions? Check out our FAQ page for more information.
