Since our founding in 2012, the Refuge has experienced sustainable growth. The Refuge is home to 100+ rescued farm animals. Residents stay in their forever homes enjoying our 45 acres in custom animal-centric homes with the highest quality care. We are the only accredited farm animal sanctuary in NC, a highly rated charity on Candid and Great Non-Profits, and featured in a new documentary Forever Home which is currently being screened worldwide.
