Gravel Grinder

Image

Event Date - Dec 11, 2021

We will get the party started on top of Mt Sequoyah overlooking the Fayetteville downtown square.   Then head out east of town to enjoy some magnificent gravel roads!  There are so many options it allows to make changes to the routes to keep them fresh and exciting!  A mixture of pavement, gravel and some single track dirt.  Gravel or Mountain bikes will be the questions.  This event has a twist....only the mileage and elevations of road, gravel and dirt will be released early.  For many, you will discover some new terrain and road that you didn't know existed in NW Arkansas.  There will be roaming support on the course, but all riders should come prepared to be self-sufficient.  Remember that this event is Rules Of The Road and riders should obey all traffic rules. Great post race party on top of Mt Sequoyah with food and drink after a hard day in the saddle.

Start / Finish Location - Mount Sequoyah Conference Center, 150 N Skyline Dr, Fayetteville, AR  72701

We suggest bringing friends and family as we will have food and drink available for purchase at the finish line. We're testing some new technology, so we hope to have regular course updates which we can announce throughout the ride.

WHAT ARE THE RULES?:
There's not many, but riders must observe the Rules of the Road.  Stop at all traffic signs/lights, ride to the right, don't impede traffic, Leave No Trace and enjoy the day.  And no personal support following you on the course...be self-sufficient.  There may be a couple of other rules to add, but this is gravel!
