Join us for this family friendly Aquathlon in beautiful Lincoln Woods State Park where youth will run-swim-run to the finish.  This race is put on by Time to TRI Youth Foundation- a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote youth fitness and introduce and offer youth options in multi-sport racing.  Age groups- *5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-17; Additional SuperSprint distance for ages 11-17 who wish to challenge themselves with a farther distance (optional). Everyone will receive a medal as they cross the finish line as well as a Splash and Dash hat. Post race food and beverages will be in the field near the finish line. Each participant will be required to purchase an annual USAT membership (if you are not already a member) for $10 which covers the whole year for any race. If you participated in another multi-sport sanctioned race within the year- you do not need to pay the $10 again. It is a 1 X fee per year. Race Distances:

  • 5-6 Years Old- .5 Mile run, 50 yard swim, .7 mile run
  • 7-10 years old- .5 mile run, 100 yard swim, .7 mile run
  • 11-17 years old (age group)- .5 mile run, 200 yard swim, 1.4 mile run
  • Supersprint- .5 mile run, 300 yard swim, 2.1 mile run

Age group winners will receive awards for the top three finishers in each age group (male/female) at the post race ceremony based on finish time. SuperSprint will award finishers for the top three male and female finishers overall. The SuperSprint is a longer distance race for those looking to go farther and be competitive.

Please note: 11-17 years olds will swim out further and might not be able to touch the bottom. We will be launching waves in small groups to allow for ease of swimming.  Lifeguards will be along the route for safety and support. All 5-6 yr. old groups and 7-10 yr olds will be in an area where they can put their feet down to stop if necessary.

Registration online deadline will be FRIDAY, June 21 at 11:59 AM. 

This event is part of the NEW ENGLAND CUP MULTI-SPORT CHALLENGE.  In order to receive the award, you will need to participate in all three races in the series. The YOU CAN DU IT- youth duathlon just over the border in Griswold, CT on May 11 and the RHODE ISLAND YOUTH TRIATHLON in Charlestown on July 20 are the other two events in the series.

The FREE race walk through and clinic will be Wednesday, June 19 at 6:00-7:00 PM. Meet at the beach field next to the REI boathouse/beach-FREE- Pre-register for the clinic so we know you are coming! If you are having trouble finding us call 860-334-5874 onsite.

Packet pickup will be onsite race morning 7:00-7:45 AM. LIMITED Race day registration will be available 7:00-7:30 AM for $30.
