Chariot Division

Chariot racing is for people with disabilities often referred to as adapted carriage driving or therapeutic carriage driving, where individuals with mobility limitations can participate in the sport using specialized equipment and support. This can include teams of two or more participants with one athlete riding in the adaptive chariot, while one or more able bodied athletes push the chariot.
Note, each runner and rider should sign up separately to receive a shirt and a medal. Trivium is not responsible for pairing runners and riders. Contact Becky at becky@triviumracing.com with questions.
Since the Chariot Division at our events is an unregulated category, as far as traditional scoring is concerned. And due to the fact that chariot pushers/runners are not competing within their age group, we will score participants as follows:Race Awards: The top 2 Chariot Riders to finish will receive a race award.
Trivium Club Cup Championship: Participants in the chariot division may earn 3 participation points (as opposed to the standard 1 point) for the club they are registered under. There will be no age group or overall points for this division.
Trivium Individual Running Series: No points will be given for chariot division participants in the individual running series.
