Thursday, July 11th RUN(317) 16-Tech
On Thursday, July 11, we are excited to host participants from all over Central Indiana for our unique, high-energy 5K event! This RUN(317) event is designed to showcase 16-Tech and the surrounding neighborhoods during a 3.17 mile run/walk. Starting at 7pm, our participants will travel a course through the bustling atmosphere of the beautiful neighborhoods, starting and finishing at the 16-Tech Campus
Once they have completed their run/walk, we will be encouraging all participants to experience the bars, restaurants, and shops in the AMP and surrounding area. These events are designed to promote the neighborhoods of 317 and we are excited to show participants a glimpse of what 16-Tech and the surrounding neighborhoods have to offer!
Event Info
Number of Participants: 1,800 participants, 100 volunteers
Charity Partner: Kids Voice
Event Time: Start/Finish will be at the 16-Tech AMP. from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm, with clean-up finished by 9:30 pm.
Race Time: The race will begin at 7:00 pm completed by 8:15 pm. See information below or accompanying map for specific information regarding your area of the course.
Partial and Full Road Closures: Participants will be running and walking on one half of the road around some of the course. Some areas will be temporarily closed. If you have plans on race evening, please be aware that alternate routes may need to be taken that night.
Street Closures
The 3.17 mile event the evening of Thursday, July 11th will need to have some temporary street restrictions.
START: Breedlove from Waterway to 16-Tech parking garage All Lanes (4:00pm – 9:30pm)
Waterway from Breedlove to Harding All Lanes (4:00pm – 9:90pm)
Waterway from Harding to 16th St) All Lanes (6:55pm – 8:15pm)
East Riverside Drive from Waterway to 18th St All Lanes (6:55pm-8:05pm)
East Riverside Drive from 18th St to Burdsal Pkwy Southbound lane ONLY (6:55pm-7:40pm)
Burdsal Pkwy from East Riverside Drive to White River Pkwy E Drive Eastbound Lane ONLY (7:00pm-7:45pm)
White River Pkwy E Drive from Burdsal Pkwy to 18th Street ALL Lanes (7:00pm-7:55pm)
18th Street from White River Pkwy E Drive to East Riverside Drive All Lanes (7:00pm-8:05) (access to golf course granted expect between 7:00pm-7:15pm)
16th Street from Lafayette Rd to Harding Ave ALL Lanes (6:55pm-8:10pm)
FINISH: Breedlove from Waterway to 16-Tech parking garage All Lanes (4:00pm – 9:30pm)
