Course Map and Program

A few notes about the course

  • This course is a turnaround, not a loop.
  • When starting the race, please keep to your left towards the Wilson Bridge.
  • There will be an optional early turnaround point marked with a sign for anyone who prefers to avoid the incline over the beltway.
  • There is some uneven terrain in the path just before the fork.
  • After coming down other side of the over pass there will be a turnaround at the bottom. Come back up and retrace your path.

Parking Info

Paid parking garages and metered street parking are available throughout National Harbor.

We recommend the Mariner Garage across the street from Starbucks (164 Mariner Passage, Oxon Hill, MD 20745).

Dress to Impress!

Wear what makes you feel comfortable—and have a little fun with it! You’re welcome to rock your Red Shoe 5K T-shirt or bring your own running/walking gear. We also encourage you to get creative and show off your Red Shoe spirit with red stripes, hearts, tutus, costumes, or any festive flair that makes you smile. ❤️👟

And yes—dogs are welcome too! So bring your four-legged friend and make it a day to remember!
