In consideration of you accepting this entry, I, the participant, intending to be legally bound and hereby waive or release any and all right and claims for damages or injuries that I may have against the Event Director, I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter a run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I assume all risks associated with running this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, the conditions of the road and traffic on the course, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read the waiver and knowing these facts, and in the consideration of your accepting my entry, I for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release HumanKind staff, volunteers and sponsors, Riverside Runners, Inc., their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event even though the liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in the waiver.

I acknowledge that, an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), senior citizens and people with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

I also authorize the use of photographs or videos that include my image for promotional, informational, or other reasons deemed to be in the best interest of HumanKind.
