RUNNING2BWELL EVENT WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration of being permitted to participate in this event, I hereby waive, release, and discharge Running2bwell, the Event Director, RunSignup, sponsors, volunteers, officials, property owners, and their respective agents, employees, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in this event.

I understand that running, walking, rucking, volunteering, and participating in athletic events involve inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, traffic, weather, uneven terrain, equipment failure, illness, and other hazards that may result in injury, disability, death, or property damage. I voluntarily assume all such risks.

I certify that I am physically capable of participating in this event and accept responsibility for determining my fitness to participate. I agree to follow all event rules and instructions from race officials. Event organizers reserve the right to remove any participant from the event for safety reasons.

In the event of illness, injury, or medical emergency, I authorize event personnel to secure medical treatment on my behalf if necessary. I understand that I am solely responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

DOG PARTICIPATION: Participants who choose to participate with a dog assume full responsibility for the dog’s care, behavior, and actions. Participants agree to hold harmless Running2bwell and all event representatives from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their dog’s actions. Dogs must remain leashed and under control at all times. Event organizers may remove any dog that presents a safety concern. Children age 12 and under may not participate with a dog.

I grant permission to Running2bwell and its representatives to use my name, likeness, image, voice, and race results in photographs, videos, publications, websites, social media, and other promotional materials without compensation.

I understand that registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. The event may be modified, postponed, rescheduled, or canceled due to weather, emergencies, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond the organizers’ control. No refunds will be issued.

By registering for this event, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to this Waiver and Release of Liability. For participants under age 18, a parent or legal guardian must accept this waiver on the participant’s behalf.
