Join us for our 1st Annual Save The Bell 5K Run/Walk!
Our Mission: This 5K is a Fundraiser to begin the renovation of our historic church, First Baptist Church of Campobello. The front entrance (including our church bell) will be completely renovated, with a glass window front, modernized sanctuary, an updated children’s wing, and parking.
This fundraiser is hosted by our running group, Run For God Spartanburg County! We would love for you to be a part of our running group as we meet weekly.
T-Shirts available to all early registered runners. (Cutoff date 11/5/19)
Awards will be given to the top overall male and female runners, along with age division groups. This run will be chip timed. To stay updated on details of the run, connect with us on Facebook and let us know you're coming! Facebook page and event link below.
Sign-up now for $20. Price will increases by $5.00 after October 19th.
Post race snacks and water will be provided.

5K Course
The course will begin on the sidewalk in front of the church headed down ASHEVILLE HWY headed toward Inman. Your first turn will be a LEFT onto Old Mill Rd (a volunteer will be standing here) and crossover the railroad tracks. Stay straight until you get to the fork in the road (a volunteer will be standing here) and stay LEFT. Once you’ve peaked the hill shortly after you will take a RIGHT onto Alverson Rd (chief police/fire department will be here). Stay on Alverson Rd until you get to the stop sign, then take a right onto Walnut Hill Rd(police/fire dept will be here). You will then descend down Walnut Hill Rd and merge back onto Old Mill Rd. Stay on Old Mill Rd until you’ve returned back to the railroad tracks and use the sidewalks and roadside parking back to the first parking lot at the church (volunteer will be standing here). You will then make your way down to the gym and around the back to the FINISH line.
