2026 Race the Landing 5K New Years Day Pajama Run -Recycle, Reuse and Renew

Thank you to all 300+ who have registered! We can't wait to see you on Dec. 31 at packet pick up and Jan. 1 for the 5K.

Start off 2026 on the right foot with a 5K at Charles Towne Landing State Park.

As you run or walk, enjoy the spectacular river, marsh views, and majestic oaks. Our course is a beautiful place to reflect on the past year and set goals for 2026.

After the 5K, we'll have soup, cornbread, and traditional Hoppin' John (vegetarian options included) indoors, where you can make memories with your family as well as new and old friends.

We will be recycling shirts and awards from various local events, and awards are five-year age groups, five places deep. 

We know getting up on New Year's Day can be tough, so pajamas are welcome!

Packet Pick Up & Race Day Details

Early packet pick up is December 31 from 11 AM - 4 PM at Fleet Feet West Ashley (1401 Sam Rittenberg Blvd).

We recommend picking up your packet early and all who come on Wednesday receive a free pair of Race the Landing socks. 

Packet pickup on race day starts at 7:30 AM, and the run/walk starts at 9 AM. Our kids fun run is sponsored by Fleet Feet and starts at 8:30 AM. 

Please arrive by 8:30 AM as the park's gates close to traffic.
