Brighter Days 5K/10K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run

April 13th - 5K/10K starts at 8:30 a.m. and the Fun Run starts at 8:00 a.m.
Late Registration- 7:45-8:15 a.m.
This run/walk takes runners on a scenic course throughout Dargan's Pond and Clemson University's Research and Education Center. It is centered around one of the most beautiful but tucked away places in South Carolina. Trees covered in Spanish Moss, a breathtaking pond, and wildlife around every turn. Proceeds will benefit the Jonathon Foundation for Teens. The foundation helps teens with mentall illness through education, testing, referral, support services, outreach efforts, and research support of The Juvenile Bipolar Research Foundation. The race will be chip timed and pictures will also be taken as runners cross the finish line! The race is held in conjuction with the "Rural Heritage" celebration/festival at Clemson University's Research and Education Center in Florence, SC. This celebration is a great opportunity to see local farmers and crafters present their Pee Dee products. You are welcome to stay for the festival (free of charge) and experience anything from blacksmiths to local cuisine.  School Competition so get your friends to join you and run as a team!
