The Downville Mile is where you come to let gravity do a little of the talking and your legs do the rest. This is a mile built for speed, swagger, and that special kind of joy that only happens when the course tilts downhill and your brain goes, “we’re doing WHAT pace right now?” 🏃♂️💨
Included with registration, you’ll earn a finisher medal because the fastest mile deserves shiny proof, plus a custom race bib that serves as your superhero ID for the day. You’ll also score event-themed giveaways with exclusive swag hotter than your PR, and a race sticker for your bottle, laptop… or your forehead if you’re feeling bold (no judgment). 🎖️🏁🎁🔥
We’ll have chip timing with live results so your speed gets measured and celebrated instantly, and complimentary race photos to freeze-frame that moment you’re flying and pretending it feels totally normal. Then stick around for the music and post-race party with good vibes, and a crowd of fast friends who also came to test their top gear. 🎶📸⏱️
And the main event: this is the fastest mile course in the state, featuring 100+ feet of downhill glory. PRs aren’t promised… but they’re definitely being tempted. 😄

🅿 Parking: Parking will take place at the Confluence Center which is at the FINISH LINE of the race. Therfore ALL participants are required to walk/run to the start line as thier warm up prior to their races start. Please consider your travel time to the start line so we can start all races on time. If you are a beginner runner/walker you may be driven up to the start line but ALL cars must be OFF THE COURSE by 6:00pm

Upstate Road Series & Upstate Brew Series – The Top 3 Male & Female finishers in each age group category will earn points toward our Age Group Road Series. Winners will be recognized at our annual award ceremony for their combined performance across the series!
