GE Women's Network VIRTUAL 5K RUN

Join the GE Women’s Network (GEWN) in our nationwide scholarship fundraiser for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) by participating our Virtual 5K Run!  This 5K run, or walk, may be completed any where from January 18-31.

Select your GEWN Region (South, East, or Central/West) to be apart of the fun. This race is open to everyone, including non-GE employees so invite your family and friends in a regional rivalry contest to see who can get the most participants and who can raise the most donations! Once registered, complete your 5K run anytime during the two week period and log your time on this website. Upload any photos to add to the excitement. Winners will be announced February 1st. 

Cost

$30 registration fee per runner which can be paid via this website. 100% of the proceeds are donated to SWE and the fee is waved for donations above $50! Don’t forget to utilize GE Matching to double your impact!

Prizes

There will be two regional winners: Top Fundraiser and Top Participation.
Prizes include special experiences with GE leaders. All participants will receive a downloadable certificate of completion.

Goal

$20,000! We encourage each individual hub to recruit a team of at least 30 participants.

Don't want to run BUT want to support your regional team?

No problem! Additional donations are encouraged and will help your region to win the top fundraising award.
