A FREE July 4th Celebration for the Upstate Running Club Family

*Membership of the UPSTATE RUNNING CLUB is REQUIRED for event participation.

*And yes, your membership covers your family and guest(s)!!

*And yes, you can become a member right now. 

Important points:

• Bring a chair! 
• Some food and drinks will be provided (Hotdogs and a few community coolers with drinks)
  • Feel free to bring a food dish to share
  • and/or some drinks for the community coolers
  • No power for crock pots, so if it needs to be hot, bring it hot
• Light is limited after sundown

Lace up your shoes, grab your lawn chair, and prepare for a little red, white, and woo-hoo!

Join us on July 4th for a fun and run as we celebrate our Upstate Running Club members, running family, and the kind of summer night that feels best with trail dust on your shoes and fireworks in the sky.

After the run, stick around for a post-run social, potluck dinner, food, drinks, and whatever zippity-do-dah energy the night decides to bring. This is not a fancy banquet. This is a backyard-style, running-family friendza where everyone, shares a few laughs, and helps turn Lakewood Nature Preserve into the most patriotic aid station in Greenville.

Camping is available for $25 per participant for anyone who wants to keep the freedom festivities rolling under the moon and stars.

Please note that there is no water or power on site, but we do have plenty of open parking, beautiful nature trails, wildlife, wide-open sky, and just enough controlled chaos to make this a Fourth of July night worth remembering.

Come run, walk, eat, laugh, camp, contribute, and celebrate with the URC community.
