Join us for the Honey Bee Hustle 5K on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Honea Path, South Carolina.
Set in a community known for its welcoming spirit, this scenic downtown course takes participants through Honea Path’s historic streets, local storefronts, and neighborhoods filled with enthusiastic hometown support. Whether you’re an experienced runner chasing a new goal or preparing for your very first 5K, the Honey Bee Hustle is designed to be an encouraging, approachable, and enjoyable event for all fitness levels.
This race is especially ideal for first-time participants, walkers, families, and anyone looking for a supportive environment to begin their running journey. Clear course guidance, friendly volunteers, and a relaxed race-day atmosphere ensure that every participant feels confident from start to finish.
All participants are invited to embrace the event’s theme—yellow, black, and a little bee-inspired fun are always welcome. A post-race “Best Dressed” contest will celebrate the creativity of those who choose to join in.
All finishers receive an official Honey Bee Hustle race shirt.
The course is fully walker-friendly, and strollers are welcome.

IMPORTANT UPDATE
We’re blown away by the response to the Honey Bee Hustle 🐝
When we started planning this race, we ordered 150 medals and custom race bibs for our first year… and you guys have absolutely blown that out of the water. We’re now over 140 runners and still growing, and honestly, we’re shocked (in the best way) at how much this has taken off.
We could have capped this thing early—but we didn’t want to let the momentum die or leave anyone out, so we found a way to keep it going and make sure more of you can be part of it.
As we head into race week, here’s what to expect:
🏅 Finisher Medals
We have 150 finisher medals available on race day. Once those are claimed, any remaining medals will be mailed out after the race so everyone still gets the full experience.
👕 Race Shirts & 🎁 Swag Bags
If you registered by April 18, your shirt and swag bag will be ready and waiting for you at packet pickup or race morning, along with your custom Honey Bee Hustle bib.
If you registered after April 18, your shirt will be mailed after the race and swag bags will be available while supplies last.
🏷️ Race Bibs
Participants registered by April 18 will receive our custom Honey Bee Hustle bib. To keep registration open and allow more runners to join us, participants registered after that will receive a standard race bib.
To request your shirt and/or medal be mailed after the event, please email us and we’ll take care of it!
We truly did not expect this kind of turnout for our first year, and we’re incredibly grateful for the support from this community.
We’ll have an awesome finish line atmosphere with local partners, giveaways, and plenty to enjoy after you cross.
We’re also doing a Best Dressed contest, so feel free to have some fun with it and wear your best bee themed attire🐝

Getting ready for race day doesn’t have to be something you do alone.
We created EasyMiles Run Club on FB as a free, supportive online community to help runners and walkers of all levels feel confident and prepared leading up to the Honey Bee Hustle 5K. Whether this is your first 5K or your fiftieth, you’ll find encouragement, guidance, and accountability every step of the way. We've also added a TikTok where we will post free training tips and videos about the race!

Packet Pickup Information
Packet pickup will be held at The Hive
📍 3 N Main St, Honea Path, SC
Friday (May 1): 5:00–7:00 PM
Race Day (May 2): 7:00 AM until race start
Packet pickup is where you will check in and receive your race bib, shirt, and your bag with sponsor giveaways.
We recommend coming Friday evening to make race morning quick and easy.
Participants will also receive:

The route is a mostly flat, beginner-friendly loop through downtown Honea Path with clearly marked turns, a staffed water station at the halfway, and a strong finish right back on Main Street.
Whether you’re running, jogging, or walking, this course was designed to be approachable, safe, and enjoyable for all experience levels.

📦 Packet Pickup (Highly Recommended)
We strongly encourage all runners to pick up their shirt, bib, and swag bag Friday, May 1st from 5–7 PM at:

If you pick up Friday, you are fully checked in and ready to go for race day.
Race morning pickup will still be available, but please allow extra time to park, grab your items, and get to the start line before the 9:00 AM start.

• Commercial Bank parking lot
• Honea Path Presbyterian Church
• First Baptist Church
