Veterans Day 9K for K9s

We hope that you can join us for our annual fundraiser for Veterans Day on Saturday Nov 10, 2018.  This year's run will benefit the Pets for Vets Program. The run will be a timed 9K(5.4miles) run/walk through the Market Common Area.  The event will begin at 7pm from the shop (Black Dog Running Company).  Being a nighttime event, for safety purposes, all participants must run with lights and reflective vests. We also strongly encourage folks to buddy up and do it with a friend or group. We will have food and beverages provided post run/walk.  This event is both Dog and Stroller Friendly. 

Registration is $40 through Wed Nov 7th, after that it is $45.  Online registration is open until Saturday Nov 10th at 11am.  All participants will receive a Tri Blend shirt with "Never Run Alone" themed logo.  Awards will be presented for overall top 3 male/female finishers and overall top 3 dog/human teams : ) Packet pickup will be held at the shop event evening starting at 5:30pm until 6:45pm. 

100% of event proceeds will benefit the Pets for Vets Program.  Pets for Vets was created to improve the lives of both Veterans and animals by bringing them together in a thoughtful, caring way. Their goal is to give back to the brave servicemen and women who have given everything to our country, while finding homes for deserving shelter pets. By matching the right pet with the right Veteran, everyone wins! Shelter animals receive a second chance at life and Veterans receive a second chance at health and happiness.
