2018 Melon Mile 5K

As part of our annual Pageland Watermelon Festival we are thrilled to announce we will host the forth annual Melon Mile 5K presente by Titan Stainless.  Please come out and enjoy a day of fun with the entire family! After running through our beautiful town, stick around and enjoy live music and entertainment as you walk through the streets of downtown Pageland. The events begin Friday afternoon at 3:00 pm. There will be something for everyone in the vendor area and special events and entertainment throughout the day for the children. Enjoy the music as the sun goes down on this sweet rural town. Directly following the 5k come see one of South Carolina’s largest parades on Saturday morning. It will provide plenty of entertainment, laughter and fun for the family. Runners like to eat, right??!! Well we have a treat for YOU, sample the delicious variety of foods as the beautiful wares of the crafters lure you. Children will enjoy a variety of events throughout the day at the Children’s Stage located in Moore’s Park. Don’t forget the old fashioned seed spitting and watermelon eating contests for all ages. Admire the awesome talents displayed at the festival rodeo each night. Gather with us to enjoy the company of friends and visitors at the end of each day, and take in the music and entertainment of live bands. Enjoy reminiscing about yesteryear at our old-fashioned festival in the heart of the Carolinas.
