Annual Dolphin Dash 5K, Fun Run, and DolphinFest
Join us at the annual 5K, 1 Mile Kids Fun Run, and DolphinFest with vendor booths, jump castles, and food trucks.
All proceeds for this event go to support the Newington Elementary School PTA and programs for Newington Elementary School.

5K Run/Walk
The 5K is a USATF certified course that runs through the Newington neighborhood of Summerville, SC.
Packet Pickup
- Friday, February 2nd from 3 pm to 7 pm.
- Race day, Saturday, February 3rd starting at 7 am.
5K Start Time
- 8 am, in front of Newington Elementary School
T-Shirts and awards:
- Dolphin Run/Walk T-shirt featuring original artwork from a Newington student
- Top three male and female finishers
- Top male and female finisher in each age group - (9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+)
Pricing
- $30 through September 22nd
- $35 through October 13th
- $40 through November 3rd
- $45 on Race Day

1 Mile Fun Run
Let the kids race in front of the school, around the bus loop, and back! This is always a fun race for our kids! Be sure to cheer them on!
