This year our MadMan Tri will be taking place at the beautiful Lake Herman State Park. We will begin with an open swim at Lake Herman followed with the bike course that will take participants around and through the scenic State Park. Athletes will finish with the run portion of their race that will take participants deep into our unique trails through the State Park. Water stations will be set up along the run course. The State Park is spectator friendly so family and friends can cheer on their athlete through out the race. Maps will be available at the check-in area for athletes and spectators.

The MadMan Tri is a sprint triathlon with a variety of courses (distances) for participants of all ages, experience levels, and families. Individuals can choose to participate in the Long Course – 500 yard swim, 15 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run. Traditional Course – 300 yard swim, 9 mile bike, and 2.5 mile run. Average Joe Course – 200 yard swim, 5 mile bike, and 1 mile run. Team division is also available for the Traditional Course. Returning for the second year is our Corporate Cup. The Corporate Cup involves Lake County businesses only where a 2-3 person team is able to run the Traditional Course. In addition to the Adult Triathlon, the MadMan Kids Tri will offer a course for kids ages 6-10 years of age and 11-14 years of age – 50 yard swim, 1 mile bike run, and .5 mile run.*Life jackets are allowed for the kids course.*
