2024 Race Awards
Set Up Events is trying something new in 2024 (for us) when it comes to race awards. We’re doing this for a number of races in the NCTS, but not all (see below).
Instead of presenting race award winners with a designated race award, we will give race award winners a choice of what they want to take home.
This is a totally new approach for us and we’re anxious to get feedback on how it works.
Race award winners in 2024 will choose one of five award items listed below:
1) NCTS branded sport towels
2) NCTS branded mini coolers
3) NCTS branded traditional desk “trophy”
4) A pair of custom knit socks from 2023 (a number of races to choose from)
5) A 25% coupon to a future NCTS race (all NCTS events except the White Lake Half)
At the award presentations, award winners will be handed a laminated card showing their placement (for photos) and then proceed to the 2024 awards table to turn in their laminated card and select their award.
Note: This awards procedure for 2024 will pertain to the following NCTS races:
Azalea
Pinehurst International
Pinehurst Sprint
Lake Norman
White Lake Spring International
White Lake Spring Sprint
White Lake Fall International
White Lake Double Sprint
Sandling Beach International
Sandling Beach Sprint
The following NCTS races will be presenting their own race awards as has been done in the past:
White Lake Pro/Am Half
Triangle
New River
Lake Lure
YMCA/Wrightsville Beach
