Your Love Run
Follow the yellow brick road with love in the Heart of Screenland, tracing the steps of famous movie and TV stars, and passing locations of scenes from award-winning films. The 11th annual Screenland 5K features motion picture-inspired visual and performing arts for the entire family, plus a hilarious costume contest with this year's theme, "Love and Romance." "Love" Your Team
Form a team or join one when you register! Express yourselves in the race theme of "Love and Romance!" Run your personal best by following a Culver City Women's Running Club pace setter dressed in theme. Look for our signs denoting milestones, such as 25, 30, and 35-minute pace groups," said club leader Tamar Fuhrer.
Dress to Win
Race dressed as your favorite screen personality to win prizes and a big-time movie contract in the "Love and Romance" Costume Contest on Race Day, Feb. 28, at 8:00 a.m. with finals at 8:20 am.
Munchkin Dash
Aspiring movie stars aged 17 and under can embark on an enchanting journey to the Emerald City in the Munchkin Dash. Cheered on by their favorite screen characters, each young star will receive a shirt and a medal. Adults may start with their kids in the back rows. Enjoy photos of the Dashers in action!

Race Walks the Walk
Recent Screenland 5Ks have raised over $40,000 in funds, services, and rebates for local non-profits and awarded $20,000 in honorariums to visual and performing artists, showcasing the community's talent and generosity. Donate here.
Legacy Awards
The Screenland 5K honors its Legacy Runners with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Start your collection of finisher medal replicas that attach to a custom-designed plaque by participating in consecutive Screenland 5Ks.
This year's medal is a "Love and Romance" film icon. Prior medals include a Clapboard, Projector, Star, Stage Curtains, Film Canister, Popcorn, Director's Megaphone, Director's Chair, Comedy/Tragedy Masks, and 3D Glasses. Each year you walk or run, you'll add another unique piece to the set until it's complete. This keepsake is awarded only to those maintaining an active streak, honoring our most dedicated runners and celebrating the cinematic magic that inspires our race.
Motion pictures made in Culver City have won an Oscar or Emmy every year since the Academy's creation a century ago, underscoring the Heart of Screenland's lasting impact on the entertainment world. The 2027 Screenland 5K will highlight winning films that showcase "Love and Romance" in the points of movie lore.
Crash 'n Roll
Crash the Screenland 5K course on bikes on vehicle-free streets with Walk 'n Roller instructors and Culver City's finest. Meet at the Screenland 5K starting line at Ivy Station at 7:15 a.m. on race day, Feb. 28. Riders must be 11 years old and under, wear helmets, and stay on the designated route with course leaders.
Run Virtually
Will you be writing your Academy Awards acceptance speech on the morning of the race? You can still participate by signing up for the Screenland 5K Virtual Run. Complete your 3.1-mile journey at a place and time that fits your schedule. We'll set aside your shirt, race bib, and finisher's medal (subject to avail.).
