Overview
This race is part of the 2026 NorCal Youth State Series
Scoring Model
Each race will give you the opportunity to add to your score. The 1st place athlete in each age group will receive 50 points, and each place behind that will receive 2 points less. Everyone in places past 25 will receive 2 points.
Individual Age Groups
Series scoring will be done by single age age groups (7-year-old females, 7-year-old males, 8-year-old females, 8-year-old males, etc). Your age is calculated as your age on 12/31/2026.
NorCal Youth State Series Awards
In the State Series, the top four (4) scores for each individual will count towards their series score. These four scores will be added together to create a cumulative score for the series.
All events will count regardless of format.
At the end of the series, the top 3 athletes in each individual age will earn a series certificate from USA Triathlon. The winners of each age will also be highlighted in the USA Triathlon Youth Magazine.
