Packet Pick-up
We are offering two packet pick up days / locations for this event.
Friday 8/19: Valley Fleet Feet (13910 E Indiana Ave d, Spokane Valley, WA 99216) From 4pm-7pm
Sunday 8/21: Packet pick-up race morning will be at the base of the Silver Mountain gondola. Packet pick-up will start at 6:00am and end at 8:15am PST on race morning. Please arrive at packet pick-up with plenty of time before your start. You will need time to park, get your packet, wait for the gondola and then ride the gondola to the start line. The gondola ride takes roughly 20 minutes once you are on it. The gondola will not start operation until 6:30am.
Start Times
18k- 7:30am PST
9k- 8:30am PST
6k- 9:00am PST
The course is set to close at 12:30pm. This allows you 5 hours to complete your 18k distance. Though as long as the participant is making reasonable forward progress, the finish line will remain open until the last participant crosses the line.
Gondola
Please arrive early to ensure you make it to the start before the race. The gondola ride takes about 20 minutes once you are on it. Spectator tickets can be purchased race morning at packet pickup for $15.
Parking:
There is plenty of parking at the base of the gondola for runners and spectators.
Gear Check
Gear check will be available at the start line after you get off the gondola. In an effort to reduce waste, we ask runners to please bring your own bag to put your belongings in. We will provide a tyvek hospital-type wrist band to label your bag with your bib number. You will need your bib number showing when you drop off and pick-up your bag. Gear check is only available for athletes wearing bib numbers.
Aid Stations
This is a cup free event. Please bring a refillable water cup or bottle. A small amount of cups will be available for emergencies. Aid Stations will be equipped with the water, sports drink, GU gels, and gummy bear chews. 18k runners will have additional salty snacks. Please do not litter on course and dispose of your trash at the aid stations.
Toilets
Bathrooms will only be available at the start/finish line. Due to the type of trail, bathrooms are not able to be brought on course. Remember to go before you go.
Finish Photos
Make sure you smile as you cross the finish line. Finish photos will be available for download on the results page 5 days post race. Be sure your bib is visible and on the front of your body.
Awards
Awards will be given to first, second and third place overall in each distance male and female. First place age group awards (male/female) will be given as well.
Age Groups: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Virtual
Run your race on any trail or route and post your results online! You can submit your results August 13th - August 25th. Swag will be available at packet pickup or will be mailed out following race weekend.
