How can I register for the events?

Can I register on race day?
No, there will be no race day registration.
There will, however, be race day packet pick up for runners that have already registered. This will start at 6:30 AM and end at 7:30 AM. To avoid race day lines, please attend one of the two, packet pickup venues during race week.
How do I use my Grand Prix awards voucher for a free GWTC race entry?
You may either e-mail the race directors at springtimerace50@gmail.com for the online code or bring it to the early packet picket/on-site registration.
What are the age limits for the races?
There are no age limits. We encourage participants of all ages to join us.
Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
Yes.
Will I receive a refund if I cannot attend? Can someone else run with my number?
There are absolutely No Refunds. No Exceptions.
What will the weather be like in Tallahassee in March?
The average high is in the mid 70′s while the average low is in the mid 50′s. This race is rain or shine!
Are the races walker friendly?
Yes, we will have plenty of participants that will walk. If you plan to walk the race, we do require that you line up at the back of the race corral so as not to impede runners.
Are baby joggers or strollers allowed during the race?
If you choose to run with a baby jogger, we ask that you start behind all other runners. It is your responsibility to make sure your baby jogger does not impede other runners, and you must take extra precaution to ensure your safety, your child’s safety, and the safety of the runners around you. We reserve the right to pull any participant from the race who is endangering other runners or themselves.
Are pets allowed during the race?
No, this is to ensure runner safety and comply with liability insurance policies.
Are headphones (iPods, mp3 players, etc) allowed during the race?
Headphones are allowed. Please be aware of your surroundings and other runners.
Is there a time limit?
Participants must complete the race under 2 hours (maintaining a 20 min per mile pace).
Will there be water stops?
Yes, there will be a single water stop that the 10K runners hit twice at approximately the 2- and 3.5-mile marks. The 5K runners will also use the 2-mile mark water stop as well.
Will there be a sports drink and energy gels on the course?
A sports drink and water will be available at the water table.
What time should I get there?
We encourage you to arrive early to ensure a good parking spot and to get to the start line with plenty of time.
Where can we park for the races?
It is important to arrive early because roads will be closed for both the 10K and Springtime Tallahassee Parade later in the day. No parking will be allowed in the FDOT lots near the Start/Finish line. Parking garages and limited street parking are available nearby. See the map below.
