RACE DAY QUESTIONS

Where can you park your car?
  • On-street parking is available.
  • Parking at the Nautica parking lot is $3.
  • The address is 2398 Sycamore Street, Cleveland, OH 44113.
I would like to change race distances. Am I able to do so?
  • Yes, you can change your distance.
  • Log in to your RunSignup account and change your distance there.
  • Need assistance? Go to registration in the St. Malachi Gym and ask for assistance.
I can no longer participate in this event. What are my options?
  • You can transfer your registration to another runner.
  • Find your registration in your RunSignup account and follow the transfer instructions.

  • No refunds or deferrals are available for this race.
I am registered but unable to attend. Can I still get my shirt?
  • You can pick up your items at any packet pickup before race day.
  • We DO NOT mail shirts.

I want to attend Mass and I am participating in the 5-mile race. Is there someplace inside to wait?
  • You can wait in the Parish Hall, where food and beverages will be available for participants.
  • To sit down, visit the Stella Maris coffee shop located one-half block from the Church at 1302 Washington Street.

RACE DETAILS

When does the race begin?
  • The 2 mile race starts at 9:00 a.m.
  • The 5 mile race starts at 10:00 a.m.
Where does the race begin?
  • The race will start and finish on the Cleveland Memorial Shoreway.
  • The start and finish are adjacent to St. Malachi Church, 2459 Washington Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44113.
What distances are available?
  • A 2-mile race.
  • A 5-mile race.
  • A Combo category based on the participant’s combined 2-mile and 5-mile times.
  • Both events are chip timed using MYLAPS BibTag technology.
  • The disposable timing chip is attached to the back of the race bib and does not need to be returned.
  • Wear your bib on the outermost layer of clothing with the bib number horizontal to the ground.
Where can I see my results?
  • A link to download The Last Mile mobile app will be available in early February.
  • The app can be used to view results and find additional race information.
  • Sign up for push notifications to receive the latest updates.
  • Details will also be included in the pre-race email.
  • QR codes linking to the results will be posted at various race-day locations.
  • Race results and photographs will be available through The Last Mile app.
  • Participants can download a finisher certificate pre-populated with their name and time.
  • A web version will be available for participants who prefer not to download the mobile app.
Are there pacing restrictions or a course cutoff time?
  • There are no pacing restrictions.

  • Participants may complete either course by running, walking, or using a combination of both.
I picked up my packet in advance but lost or forgot my bib on race day. What do I do?
  • A new bib can be assigned to you on race morning.
  • Visit race-day registration to receive a new bib.
Will bathrooms or portable toilets be available?
  • Portable toilets will be available in the Malachi Center parking lot.
  • Portable toilets will also be available in the parking lot between the School Building and Malachi Hall.
  • Additional portable toilets will be available on Washington Street.
  • No bathrooms will be provided on the course.
Are there water stops or aid stations along the course?
  • There will be one water stop at the halfway point of the 5-mile route.
Can I run with my stroller?
  • Yes, strollers are allowed.
  • Please consider your pace when lining up for the race.
  • Slower runners, walkers, and participants with strollers should line up toward the rear.
Can I run with my dog?
  • Yes, this is a dog-friendly event.
  • Make sure your dog is prepared to complete the distance for which you are entered.
  • All dogs must be on a non-retractable leash during the event.
  • Remain aware of the runners and walkers around you.
  • Be prepared to be a responsible pet parent.
  • Don’t forget your poop bags!
