We are extremely sorry that the weather did not cooperate for a safe run/walk this past Saturday. Your safety is always our top priority, and while we were disappointed by the cancellation, we are grateful for your support and understanding.

Mark your calendars!  We are planning a run/walk on the Towpath this Saturday morning, March 22, 2025. There will be a packet/medal pickup prior to the run/walk.  We are ironing out the details and will send out another communication with all the specifics early this week.

The Malachi Run/Walk suffered a huge loss on Friday night with the passing of Francis McGarry, the 2025 Hibernian of the Year and a key Malachi Run/Walk team member. To honor Francis, we are dedicating this Saturday's run as the Francis McGarry Remembrance Run.

Since the cancellation on Saturday, we have received emails with similar questions, so rather than responding individually, here are the answers to the most frequently asked questions:

1. Refund Policy – As stated in the registration, there is a no-refund policy.

2. No Rollovers – Unfortunately, we cannot offer rollovers. Shirts and medals have already been purchased, and allowing rollovers would take funds away from the ministries we serve.

3. Shirts & Medals – We will be distributing shirts, medals, bibs, and purchased merchandise to everyone on Saturday morning at St. Malachi, whether you participate in the Rememberance Run/Walk or not. 

4. Virtual Run Deadline – If you are participating virtually, the deadline to submit your results is March 22, 2025.

5. Food Drive Donations – You can still bring your canned food donations and be entered in the raffle for the Second Sole Lakewood gift certificate.

6. Post-Race Hooley Beer – We can only honor the complimentary beer at the Post-Race Hooley last Saturday.

7. Age Group Awards – Because there are virtual runners and Remembrance Run participants we cannot offer age group awards since the courses and race conditions are not consistent.

8. Malachi Merchandise – Our merchandise will be available at a 15% discount at the  Remembrance Run/Walk on Saturday.
