13.1 - Course Map

Aid/Water Stations:  There are aid stations every 1 - 2.5 miles.  Approximate distances are below.

The Interactive route lets you scroll over the course elevation chart and move the cursor along the course map.


Notice how the 3D viewing angle changes as you move the cursor over the elevation profile at the bottom.  Moving the cursor over the elevation profile also lets you see the direction of the race.

Explanation of the Half Marathon (13.1) Course:
Start & Finish is at Eastwood Beach
1.  Run Thru the Sidewalk to and through the upper parking lot - run @30yards up a grass trail & turn Right onto the Hike/Bike Path (clockwise around lake)
2.  Run to the @1.65 mile mark and make a U-Turn (This will be clearly marked with a 13' tall flag, signs, & staffed with a volunteer)
3.  Return to the Start/Finish area in Eastwood Beach - continue CounterClockwise around lake
4.  At 6 mile mark turn right across grass and onto Nature Center Drive - This is at an aid station and park police will be at the road crossing
5.  Nature Center Drive will be closed during the race.  Run to the end of the road, loop around the Nature Center parking lot and return to the bike path.
     *NOTE:  only run the Nature Center Drive Out & Back Once during the race!
6.  Turn Right onto the bike path at the aid station - continue counterclockwise around the lake returning to the start/finish area at Eastwood Beach
7.  Turn left into the Finish Line at the Aid Station in front of the Eastwood Beach Building.

The Course is well marked and there will be an aid station and volunteer at every point along the course that turns off the bike path.
