Alternate 5K Activities
- Our goal is to make this event as INCLUSIVE as possible - regardless of age, mobility, desire to do an alternate activity, or any other challenge.
- These activities can be done in lieu of walking or running. We've provided a very broad list of activities that you can do to complete your 5K goal!
Each item lists the distance obtained after 30 minutes of that activity.
For Example: 30 minutes of bowling = 2.2 kilometers OR
10 minutes of aerobics = 1.1 kilometers OR
30 minutes of Line Dancing = 1.6 kilometers
REMEMBER: YOU CAN DO THIS CHALLENGE/EVENT OVER SEVERAL DAYS IF THAT IS YOUR COMFORT LEVEL.
