FAQ
Packet pickup: You may pick up your packet on race day morning starting at 6:30 am. You can also pick up others race packets.
Parking: There will be parking in the big field on the North side of Darwin Rd. right before you get to the Hell Creek Ranch. There will be volunteers directing you into the lot. Please DO NOT park on Patterson Lake road.
Course: The course is in and around Hell. Be aware there will be vehicle traffic on the roads at all times. Course maps are located on the Race Info page. (The 10 mile is cancelled for 2021). The 5 mile is a run/walk.
Water Stations: There will not be water stations on the course. You MUST bring your own water.
Strollers: Strollers are allowed on the course, keep in mind some portions of the course are on dirt roads and the course is open to traffic at all times. We ask that you start behind the runners.
Awards: - We will not have an award ceremony this year. All awards will be available for pick up at the Running Lab (409 W. Main St. Brighton, MI 48116) starting at 1:00 pm on Saturday August 14th. Awards are available for pickup for one week only. No awards will be mailed or delivered.
Restrooms: Restrooms/Porta Johns will be available at Hell Creek ranch. Please respect our neighbors on the course and do not use their lawns/property. There are no restrooms along the course.
Refunds: There are no refunds for this event. Your entry fee is not refundable and non-transferable.
Where is Hell: Hell is less than an hour drive from Detroit. Directions to Hell Creek Ranch can be found HERE
Gear check: There is NO Gear Check for this event.
Headphones: While headphones are not prohibited, we strongly recommend runners remain aware of their surroundings for their safety. The course is open to traffic.
Weather policy: This event will occur rain or shine. In the event of severe weather we will ask participants to return to their vehicles. A decision will be made if it's safe to continue with the event. In the case of a cancellation, no refunds will be given.
