1< Orphan 5K

The 11th Annual 1<Orphan 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 8:00 AM.
Through this event, we will be continuing to raise awareness of the orphan needs in the Mid-South and will be benefiting various foster care ministries,  All dollars raised will go to further the Faith Orphan Ministry's Mission Statement “to glorify God through orphan care by raising awareness, preserving life, and strengthening families.” 

This year’s race proceeds benefit an adoption grant for families, foster care ministry, and Isaiah 117 House. Isaiah 117 House provides physical and emotional support in a safe and loving home for children awaiting placement in the foster care system. Memphis will soon have two new homes for children of our city to receive love and care while transitioning to a foster family. For more information visit www.isaiah117house.com

Race begins and ends at Faith Baptist Church, Bartlett, Tennessee. Start/Finish located in the drive in the parking lot north of the building. Race course is USATF Certified TN14096MS.

To be guaranteed your preferred t-shirt size, registration must be completed by May 22nd, 2024. 

Inclement Weather Policy for 5K Race (Updated 5/29/24)

**Rain** 
In the event of rain the race will proceed as planned. Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for wet conditions.

**Lightning and Thunder** 
For the safety of all participants, the race will be delayed up to two hours if lightning or thunder is observed. We will monitor the weather closely and provide updates as necessary.

**Prolonged Storms** 
In the event of prolonged storms that include lightning and thunder that persist beyond the two-hour delay, the race will be canceled. The safety of our participants, volunteers, and spectators is our top priority.
