Description

Come enjoy the sites and sounds of the fall season with us. The S’Mores Run is a family friendly event.  You can walk, run, skip or stroll but please no bicycles. Please note that there is a narrow trail and bridge to The Smokehouse BBQ Restaurant from the trail. We will have a shuttle for those that are unable to access the S’mores Extravaganza due to age or stroller.

Participants will receive a super cool t-shirt, door prizes, the ultimate S’Mores Extravaganza and other goodies.

The race will start at the trailhead in Johnson City with the finish at mile marker 3.6 so the run will be a little longer than the typical 5k race.  For your extra effort, we have marshmallows and chocolate waiting for you at the Smokehouse.

This is a dog friendly event…
Canine participants are welcome and must be well socialized and on a leash. All dog owners are responsible to clean up after their dogs. Plastic bags will be available at check-in.

Appalachia Service Project

With the partnership of over 17,000 volunteers and supporters each year, ASP remains committed to eradicating sub-standard housing in Central Appalachia. ASP is more than a home repair program though. We provide a unique opportunity that fosters transformational experiences for volunteers, families served, and staff by building relationships with each other that break down cultural, social and economic barriers. Each year we see significant life changes from the ASP experience: families renewing their faith in the goodness of others, students newly motivated to continue their education, young adults choosing careers of service, families living in warm, safe, and dry homes. No one walks away from the ASP experience unchanged. The results are truly amazing!

Feel Free to go the Extra Mile for ASP by making an additional donation.
