Train with Fleet Feet Sports Knoxville for the Butterfly Dash and Bash 5k/10k! Whether you're just starting out, wanting to up your mileage, or looking to get faster, we're here to help you reach your goals! We offer a variety of run/walk programs for all levels, aimed to help you keep moving, stay motivated and have fun! Enjoy the accountability with your fellow run program team members and receive coaching and training tips along the way. All programs will meet twice a week for 10 weeks.

  • Q&A Session: Thu May 25 at 5:00pm & 5:30pm.  This open-to-all discussion will be followed by a Open Group Walk/Run at 6:00pm.
  • Orientation Week: Join us the week before training starts for a Gear Up Night Thu 06.01 at 5:30 pm. Learn about what you'll need for the training program and earn special discounts just for training program members.
  • Workouts: Tues and Thurs at 7:00 PM starting the week of June 5
  • Target Race: The Butterfly Dash and Bash 5k/10k on Aug 12
  • Participants Receive: Detailed weekly training schedule, guidance and advice from experienced coaches, weekly group training runs, information sessions about proper running form, hydration, nutrition, etc., team technical t-shirt.

Walk Fit 5k

Join our walking only training program!   WalkFIT is a 10-week walking program designed specifically for those who want to take their first steps toward a more healthy, active lifestyle. No previous exercise experience is required!  The program concludes with participants walking their first 5K (3.1 mile) race!

Regular exercise boosts energy, improves mood, reduces stress, improves sleep, improves flexibility and balance, increases bone mass and muscle mass, improves circulation, helps with weight management, and reduces risks of chronic disease. No Boundaries - Begin to Run a 5k

Challenge yourself to complete a 5K! Get into shape with our NO BOUNDARIES™ 10-week training program and complete your first 5k! The benefits of exercise are many, with the most important being: improved cardiovascular health, improved bone health, improved mood and better coordination. The program focuses on beginners, but all levels of walkers and runners are welcome. Along the way we’ll be providing you with motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice, weekly group training runs or walks, and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury. Plus, you’ll have the camaraderie of others just like you. Sign up today to run your first 5K and commit to making a life change.

Next Steps 10k

The goal of the Next Steps 10k 10-week training program is to help beginner runners complete their first 10K or intermediate runners achieve their 10K time goal. This is a great Next Step for participants in our current No Boundaries Begin to Run program. The program is designed for people currently running 20 minutes comfortably.
