Fun run event for all ages, come run or walk and donate to a great cause.
Event will be held during the 24th annual Chicken and Bread Days Heritage Festival, which is a family fun filled event, kids games, food, crafts, live entertainment, art show, quilt show, kids coop inflatables, Piston Heads Auto Club car show and the all‑time favorite Fiddler's Contest.
Backpack Buddies Club is a ministry which focuses on providing food to economically disadvantaged children in Bowie Schools. Food is placed discreetly into the children’s backpack weekly while at school.
WHEN: October 5, 2019, Race will start at 8:00 am sharp!
(5K) - $30.00 - over 18 years of age - $15.00 - 18 & under
LOCATION: Downtown Bowie on Smythe St., Bowie, TX 76230
Medals: Overall Male Winner, Overall Female Winner & categories : 11&under, 12-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70& over. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place medals in each categories.
REGISTRATION: Please use this site for early registration. You will pick up your race packet the morning of race day.
