Save the Park Color Run: 5K

Help us SAVE OUR PARK! Please join us for a day of fun! Color run starts at 9 am down at the park.  Wear as much white as possible.... You'll end up covered in color! Run/Walk as an individual or as a group. There will be prizes for best dressed! Running is optional. You can choose to run, walk, or crawl the 5K. Each runner/walker will get a finisher metal. This will not be a timed event. The first 25 registered before 6/5/16 will get a tshirt the morning of the race! You can also register the morning of the race starting at 815 but will not be guaranteed a tshirt.  Registration will be in the pool parking lot, Bronte City Park. Start and end of the race is at our park. 

Bring the whole family. Kids under 5 are free!  

A few color run tips: Wear as much white as possible so that you end in color!!  Keep in mind that most color should come out but there is a small chance that it will stain so don't wear something that you don't mind getting colorful. Wear protective eye wear (not mandatory but suggested). Volunteers will not intentionally throw color into your face but to be on the safe side, wear glasses or goggles. Some participants choose to wear a mask or a bandana as well to avoid inhaling the powder. Powder is 100% safe....Made mostly of corn starch. You might also pack a few towels for the ride home and your car. Cameras and phones are completely welcomed but keep in mind that color might get onto these things as well. Additional tips can be found online (pinterest). 

Our 2nd annual "Save the Park" Fun Day will also be on this day starting at 10 am after the color run. So start your morning with friends, exercise & fun and continue that down at our beautiful park where we'll have bonce houses, slip n' slide, foam machine, crafts, food and much, much more. ALL proceeds to benefit our park restoration projects! See you then!
