Resolution Run for Danes 2026

New Year. New Miles. Same Big Danes.

Kick off 2026 by moving with purpose and making a difference. Join us for the Resolution Run for Danes, a month-long virtual movement challenge supporting Great Danes in need of rescue, care, and forever homes.

From January 1st through January 31st, 2026, you’re invited to run, jog, walk, hike—move however feels right for you. There’s no minimum distance and no maximum limit. Whether you’re celebrating your first mile, tackling a 5K or 10K, or challenging yourself to go all the way to a half marathon or beyond, this event is about meeting yourself where you are and seeing just how far you can go.

You have the entire month to build momentum, stay active, and maybe even surprise yourself. Every step you take brings us one step closer to helping the next Dane in need.

How It Works

Register Online – Sign up and commit to making movement part of your New Year.
Move Your Way – Walk, run, or jog any distance, anytime between January 1 and January 31. One mile or many—every bit counts.
Track Your Progress – Use your favorite fitness app or watch, or simply track your activity on our website and share your journey with us.
Whether you’re starting fresh, getting back into a routine, or pushing toward a personal goal, the Resolution Run for Danes is here to support you—and the gentle giants who need us most.
