Description
That Dam Lake Texoma 5K Bi-State Run "For the Kids" is a chip-timed 5K run beginning at East Burns Run Recreational Area in Cartwright, Oklahoma and concludes at the Lake Texoma Spillway boat ramp parking lot in Denison, Texas. Participants race across State Highway 91, Denison Dam. This is a flat course with fantastic views of Lake Texoma. Traffic is closed off during the race.
Participant parking, registration and shuttle van pickup are at the finish line, on the Texas side. Race check in begins at 7:30am - 8:30am.
Race sponsorship's and proceeds benefit the Pottsboro Kids Club, a 501(c)3 in Pottsboro, Texas.
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each male and female age categories: 12 and under, 13- 19, 20- 29, 30-39, 40- 49, 50- 59, 60- 69, 70 and over.

For an additional $10 t-shirts may be purchased by runners registering BEFORE October 31, 2019. Shirts will not be available for purchase after 10/31/2019.

Getting to the Race
Race registration and parking will be on the Texas side of the Denison Dam at the Spillway Boat Ramp and Parking Lot. Shuttles will drive participants over to Oklahoma, East Burns Run Park. Please review the map for a visual. Signs on Highway 91 will point you towards the race parking and registration.
If using Google maps look for Lake Texoma Spillway Parking Lot- southwest side of Denison Dam, on the Texas side.
