Jeff Raines is one of the state's top run coaches and is coming to the Houston area for a special one day, personalized run clinic. This unique opportunity will have a limited enrollment and be held in an intimate and comfortable setting. Jeff has extensive knowledge of all things running and has a proven record of improving performance, reducing injury, and increasing enjoyment of running. This is a great opportunity for any runner looking to get faster, break through plateaus, or break the cycle of run injuries!
The clinic will include several running opportunities as well as informational presentations on run form, physiology, cadence, foot strike, body position, breathing, energy systems, types of run workouts, and more. Jeff will also discuss shoe options and ways to determine the proper fit for each runner.
There will be multiple run opportunities through a park, on the track, and on the treadmill. These breakout sessions will include drills to improve and strengthen your run as well as means to increase strength, speed and efficiency. Open running will allow for practice and execution of everything taught within the clinic
Presentations as well as breakfast and lunch will be hosted at John Mayfield's home in Friendswood and provide a comfortable setting to interact with Jeff and the other camp participants
Perhaps of greatest value, each participant will be filmed on a treadmill and Jeff will provide valuable insights and feedback for performance and efficiency improvements!
All paces and experience levels are welcome and will receive insights specifically for each runner
