Join us on the “Ruck for Heroes”, an event that raises awareness for our mission that supports our military, first responders, veterans, and their families. This event reflects our commitment to being a guiding light in the darkest hours. we encourage participants to carry a ruck (or backpack) weighing 10-20lbs; as we walk, we carry the weight of their experiences, demonstrating our dedication to a more resilient, hopeful future. Whether you want to ruck, walk, or just get outside, all ages and athleticism are welcome. Come out and join the fun!
We’ll have local veteran/first responder vendors, games, raffles, and tons of fun! We invite you to bring your friends, family, and heroes you know!
Proceeds from this event will help ensure Outside The Wire ATX has the facilities and land needed to provide much needed services for our heroes and rescued animals.
