Saturday, March 4th, 2017 in the “Dinosaur Capital of Texas”
Half marathon starts at 7am from Wheeler Branch reservoir and finishes at the Historic Courthouse Square
5k and 1 mile fun run/walk starts and finishes at Historic Courthouse Square
8:00 am start for 5k & 1 Mile
Please join us for the 3rd annual Tour de Glen Rose where we will “Run Jurassic off” for Annette. Annette is the original Tour de Glen Rose director who stepped down this year when she was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer. Annette has participated in many marathons and has motivated and inspired many. This year all proceeds will go to her to help offset the cost of treatment.
Our half marathon and 5k courses are USATF certified that will be chip timed by Race Day Event Services. The half starts as a downhill course with some rolling hills in the beginning. After 4 miles it is primarily flat running along the Paluxy River. The 5k and 1 mile are flat and fast.
Each entry includes a t-shirt and goody bag.

All half marathon finishers will receive a medal, as well as the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each age group for half/5k.

Race Day Schedule:
No registration will be available on race day (online registration only)
Packet pickup will be 6:00 am – 7:45 am at the square
Half starts at 7:00am. Parking WILL be available at Wheeler Branch Park (half marathon starting line) A shuttle will be available AFTER the race to take runners back to their vehicles, if needed.
