Description
Jacob Varghese was recently diagnosed with AML, acute myeloid leukemia. This particular disease interferes with the production of white and red blood cells and platelets. As with the treatment of any aggressive illness time away from work is necessary to recovery. As Jacob's friends and family we wish to help alleviate some of his financial burdens while affording him the opportunity to focus on his recovery which is the reason the 5K has been organized. We all have been placed in difficult situations before and know the importance of having a strong support system hence is why we run for Jacob!
