Description
Are you new to triathlon or just want to give it a "tri"?
Have you raced a few and want to increase your confidence and abilities?
Come learn from USAT Certified Youth & Junior coaches and train with championship athletes!
The Tri4Him Junior Elite Team is the top nationally ranked youth & junior team in Texas for five years running!
This camp is packed with swim, bike, and run education, skills, and fun for beginners to intermediates ages 6-14.
It consists of 6 two-hour weekend sessions available in Spring, Summer, and Fall Camps competing toward top local kids races! Cedar Hill Kids Tri (Jun 8) and Little Buggy Kids Tri (Sep 2).
- SWIMMING FUNDAMENTALS: Learn the fundamentals of swimming for a triathlon
- BIKE HANDLING: Learn bike handling skills, gear usage, and maintenance
- RUN TRAINING: Basic run form training
- TRANSITION SKILLS: Learn the fundamental skills for how to transition
- PRE-RACE PREP: Learn the ins-and-outs of pre-race preparation
- DIETARY FUNDAMENTALS: Learn the importance of good eating habits and hydration

Sessions will be help at GCISD Swim Center & Track is located at 2305 Pool Road, Grapevine, Texas 76051.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE REGISTERING FOR THIS CAMP
- This is NOT a learn-to-swim program, participant must be able to swim 25 yards non-stop
- Athletes must be able to ride a bike without training wheels for 5 minutes
- Athletes must be able to walk/run ½ mile
- Sessions will be skills focused not “hard-core” training (as our team does during the week)
- We strongly encourage attending all sessions, but not mandatory
ATTENTION: Participants must have a USAT membership. Please visit www.usatriathlon.org to purchase an annual youth membership (only $10.00). They will also need have this for the race.
